Biography
Siu Fung has over 27 years of consulting and industry experience, covering diverse industry sectors, including manufacturing, auto, real estate, engineering & construction, chemicals, energy, transportation & logistics, technology, consumer & retail, and private equity.
Siu Fung has extensive experience advising senior executives from multinational corporations and local Chinese enterprises on their growth and transformation agenda. In particular, he has led large scale transformation programs, involving strategy planning and decoding, operations and performance improvement, organization optimization, M&A integration, talent and leadership development, as well as digital transformation.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Siu Fung was an experienced partner and consulting leader for industrial products & services at PwC China. Before that, he was the managing partner for Monitor Group Shanghai office and the practice leader for the Industrial and Technology practice and co-leader for the Private Equity and M&A practice. He also had 7 years of work experience in 3 technology firms and AT Kearney in his early career.
Siu Fung has translated and co-authored a Chinese book entitled "Pricing Strategy and Tactics (5th Edition)". He is also a published columnist with the Chief Executive China magazine. He is a sought-after Key Opinion Leader on China market trends and management issues with several thousands of Chinese media quotes published. He has been frequently invited to speak at industry events and chamber of commerce seminars.
Siu Fung has lived and worked in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mainland China in multi-cultural environments. He speaks native Mandarin Chinese and is fluent in English, Hokkien, and Cantonese.
Siu Fung received his MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US, and his BS degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
