Biography
Based in Milan, Corrado Passera is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Industrial and Supply Chain practices. As a former chief executive with more than two decades of international experience, Corrado understands the environment in which industrial companies operate and the challenges leaders face in running their businesses.
Corrado brings deep expertise in international development activities, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and restructuring initiatives. In addition to his executive search work, he helps organizations navigate the people side of M&A and other organizational transformations.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Corrado was the CEO of Manuli Stretch, an industrial packaging group. Earlier, he worked in Paris as general manager and CEO of the suspension components business unit of Sogefi, a listed automotive supplier, where he served also as head of corporate business development.
Corrado started his career in London on the international development team of CNH, the agricultural and construction equipment arm of Fiat group. He then joined Fiat’s corporate M&A division in Torino before moving to Fiat Powertrain Technologies, the group’s engine and powertrain arm, as head of finance business development.
Corrado holds a degree in business administration from the University of Pavia. He studied at Aarhus University in Denmark and attended executive programs at SDA Bocconi in Milano and INSEAD. In addition to his native Italian, he speaks fluent English and has intermediate knowledge of French.
