Robert T. Nowakowski is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Consumer, Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods, Healthcare and Supply Chain practices. He is currently also co-lead for the Moscow office. Robert specializes in C-level and other senior management assignments (finance, commercial, marketing, HR) for clients spanning multinational, public, private equity-backed, state-owned and private companies. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services and worked on numerous senior executive assignments in Europe and the U.S. Working with clients and candidates, Robert offers strategic counsel and insights gleaned from his experience in advisory and senior executive roles in leading consumer companies. Robert established and managed the firm's Moscow office, utilising his vast experience across Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Robert was human resources director for PepsiCo in Central and Eastern Europe. He was responsible for human resources strategy, staffing and development of executive teams, and succession planning in the region. He also worked on numerous merger and acquisition and capability-building projects in Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine. Earlier in his career, he worked as HR director for PepsiCo Russia and CIS, leading the talent and business growth agenda for the region. Robert started his professional career in 1993 with another global search firm, where he worked as research associate and knowledge manager. Robert is a Polish national and graduated from the English language department at Lodz University. He speaks Polish, English and Russian.
