Biography
Tania Mendez is a Senior Principal at Korn Ferry, based in the firm's Washington D.C. office.
Ms. Mendez partners with HR and business leadership to assist with developing and implementing reward programs that align to firm-wide and business objectives, and support successfully attracting, retaining, and engaging talent.
She has worked with locally-parented and multi-national organizations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, developing rewards strategies and reviewing, designing and implementing compensation, performance management and work measurement programs.
Her cross-border and multi-industry experience provides for a global perspective where internal business needs are balanced with alternative successful external market practices available.
Ms. Mendez has more than 15 years of experience in consulting and in-house, having worked with companies across a range of industries, including financial services.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she worked at the largest asset manager in the world, serving as an advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation-related matters. Most recently, she also served as the firm's Global Head of Talent Mobility & Immigration.
Before that, she worked at a large professional services firm in EMEA, APAC and North America, focusing on executive compensation and broad-based rewards solutions for her clients.
Her areas of expertise include total rewards strategy development; fixed and variable pay program benchmarking, review and design; and, job evaluation, architecture and levelling.
Tania received a BA in Business and Human Resources Management from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel - Vesalius College in Brussels, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
