Based in Hamburg, Karolina Reisberger is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications, Services, and Consumer practices. Her extensive management experience at both leading tech and digital companies and startups has given her deep insights in these industries and honed her skills for helping companies find the right people for the right positions, assemble a strong management team, and succeed across countries and cultures. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Karolina was freenet AG’s Head of Shopping in Hamburg. That was preceded by the role of Allegro’s country manager for Germany after serving as Deliveroo’s General Manager for Hamburg. Prior to that, Karolina cofounded and held the post of CMO at Fitolution, a Hamburg-based startup that develops health applications for the fitness and lifestyle segments. Earlier she was Airbnb’s Country Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Karolina began her career at browser game producer BigPoint with responsibility for CRM, social media, customer care, and community management. Karolina earned a diploma in international business and economics from the International School of Management, also spending two semesters abroad at UADE in Buenos Aires and Macquarie University in Sydney. In addition to German and English, she is fluent in Polish and Spanish. Karolina is passionate about her family, interior design, food and cooking, and traveling and stays fit with golf and scuba diving.
