Biography
Ana Paula Chagas in a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ São Paulo office and a member of the Retail & Apparel, CEO & Board of Directors, and Diversity & Inclusion practices. She has more than 30 years of executive search experience, having been a partner in two of the leading global companies in the industry. She serves both multinational clients, local family businesses, and private equity. Ana has worked on leading governance projects, CEO positions, executive board directors, and human resources positions.
Ana was a partner with 2Get, a local executive search firm in Brazil, and a member of the consumer products, retail, and healthcare practices, when it was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2019. Ana opened a Heidrick & Struggles São Paulo office in 1997 where she worked for 16 years.
In January 2009, Ana founded the American NGO WCD - Women Corporate Directors startup in Brazil, a group that she developed and led until December 2014. She was chairman of the advisory board of TNC - The Nature Conservancy, the largest global environmental conservation NGO, from 2013 to 2018, and continues as a voluntary counselor at TNC Brazil.
