Charlie is a testifying expert economist with over 15 years of experience supporting clients in both Asia and Europe on a number of high-profile cases. He is the leader of AlixPartners’ Chinese Economics Practice and has assisted his Asian clients on antitrust investigation, litigation, and commercial disputes such as intellectual property matters. In the UK and Europe, he has extensive experience in litigations in the English High Court and the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, and he has engaged in regulatory cases, antitrust investigations, and mergers. Charlie regularly submits reports to courts and antitrust authorities such as ICC Arbitral Tribunal at Singapore, Guangdong High Court, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), Hong Kong Competition Commission, Hong Kong Competition Tribunal, UK Competition Appeal Tribunal and English High Court. He has also testified before courts including the Guangdong High Court in China and the ICC Arbitral Tribunal at Singapore. Previously, Charlie was with UK’s Office of Communications and Charles River Associates. He did his PhD at the London School of Economics and Political Science and remains a guest lecturer at the school. He divides his time between the UK and China and speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
