Biography
Mr. Walsh brings a wealth of industry knowledge and global expertise in executive search and strategy, having led multiple, major Board, CEO, and CFO search assignments throughout his career for many of the world's leading companies. In addition to his relationships at the top of the house and his track record of success as a search professional, Mr. Walsh has developed an impeccable reputation with global clients for his strong expertise as a leadership advisor - working closely with organizations to navigate their complex talent and leadership issues. Mr. Walsh is also Founder of The Abbay, a leading CEO Educational & Networking event that works with the NFL to convene CEOs from consumer, industrial, financial services, and life sciences companies in the Fortune 500 during Super Bowl week. Focused on board director, general management, and financial executive assignments for public and private-equity backed companies, Mr. Walsh has helped to build strong CEO and board relationships. He has also served as head of the industrial practice for the Americas, responsible for driving global cooperation across the firm in its largest practice. Earlier in his career, Mr. Walsh worked at McKinsey & Company, where he developed and led engagement teams serving senior management on strategy and organizational issues. Prior to that, he was a CPA at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Walsh earned a bachelors of science from Miami University of Ohio and a masters of business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an active community member, and his boards have included Greater MSP, a Minneapolis St. Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership, the Board of Governors for the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, and the Minnesota Orchestra.
