Matthias Kamber is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Zurich office and a member of the global Technology Officers and the global Corporate Officers practices. He leads executive search engagements across EMEA covering venture capital (VC), start-up and scale-up, fintech, software, professional services, telecommunications, data management, IT services, and digital. He leads all technology functional work in the region including digital officers and data officers (CDO), information officers (CIO), technology officers (CTO), product officers (CPO), and artificial intelligence (AI) mandates. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Matthias worked for another executive search firm based in Dubai (UAE) where he lead the execution of international C-suite mandates for the civil aviation, aerospace and defense, and transportation practices with a strong focus on digital transformation, big data, data analytics, and e-commerce. Previously, Matthias was a senior consultant in a leading global recruiting company where he was responsible for the co-establishment of the legal and compliance practice in Zurich.
