Mike Nagata serves as partner in the firm's Tokyo office. He has 15 years of experience in business consulting with over 4 years' experience in executive search and recruitment in Boyden Japan and other international firms. Mike's focus is in life sciences, chemicals and other advanced industries. Mike started his career in the petrochemical industry where he achieved good results in marketing and new business development over the course of 10 years. He then worked for a small computer manufacturer as Director of International Operations while establishing and managing a worldwide sales network. After three years there, he formed his own company to provide business consulting services. He handled many international projects in the Middle East and Asia supporting U.S. firms who were entering the Japanese market. While working in the petrochemical industry, Mike studied at the University of Technology in Monterrey, NL, Mexico as a member of the government student exchange program between Japan and Mexico. He holds a BA of Economics from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
