Siang Yong Lim is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Singapore office and is a member of the firms Industrial and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices. Siang brings a global perspective and more than 20 years of experience in senior-level roles across functions, including operations, marketing, strategy and business development in various industries. Most recently, Siang served as the Chief Operating Officer at 3DMetalforge, one of the fastest growing startups in additive manufacturing based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was the global head of business for specialties and marine at Infineum in Singapore, a joint venture between Shell and Exxon Chemicals. Based in Shanghai, he served as senior director of business development for Greater China for Philip Semiconductors (now NXP) and, before that, worked in Amsterdam in Philips’ corporate strategy group. Prior to that, Siang worked with McKinsey & Company in Singapore and began his career with TECH Semiconductor (now Micron) in various operational roles. Siang graduated with an M.B.A. from Cornell University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering with first-class honours and a Master of Science in semiconductor physics from King's College, University of London. He speaks Mandarin and English.
