Margaret Xiao is a Managing Partner of DHR International in the Beijing office while participating in the growth of Elevate Partners’ business in Asia. Margaret has spent more than 25 years in Financial Industry and corporate institutions holding various senior roles with wealth of experiences in corporate finance, capital markets, venture capital as well as general management expertise in fintech and star-up companies. She also has previous leadership advisory and executive search experience in top tier global search firm to provide consulting services to insurance companies, investment banks, private equities, and other financial institutions. Prior to joining the firm, Margaret worked with Hong Kong Exchanges group (HKEX) as Managing Director and Management Committee Member of a Mercantile Exchange under the group in mainland China to build up fintech based commodity business. Margaret served as senior banker for several global financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase where she worked for 15 years, Hong Kong and Shanghai bank (HSBC) and Bank of China covering commercial banking, investment banking and private banking business. Margaret also has rich experiences in corporate institutions. She worked in Legend Holding as Deputy General Manager of a start-up logistics company of the group. Previously she was CEO of a mass media company listed in Hong Kong. Margaret graduated from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics with bachelor’s degree and obtained her MBA from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
