Biography
In her more than 7 years of leadership experience Irene has been responsible for commercial and specialist teams varying from 15 to 40 people.
She is passionate about the match between peoples capabilities and the organizational needs. Because of her curiosity, sharp eye and open personality she is able to expose patterns and create different dynamics for people and teams.
As a person Irene can be described as energetic, strong in interpersonal issues and someone who challenges the status quo. She is used to cope with strong characters and able to make issues transparent and debatable.
Irene has delivered work across multiple sectors and HR topics. Her expertise lies in finding solutions for our (inter)national clients when it comes to topics like leadership, talent development and engagement of your staff.
She has trained and facilitated many groups, ranging from starters to mid level career managers. She is straightforward in delivering feedback and takes responsibility to create a learning environment for those she works with.
Irene has worked with large corporates as well as smaller, local oriented organizations. She is comfortable in an international environment and in working with strategic, tactic and operational levels within the organization.
Irene started her career in the traineeship of Randstad. After this she worked several years in (HR) management roles and got her trainers certificate. Before joining Korn Ferry she worked in a managerial role within a health care organization. She managed 2 teams of medical professionals (doctors / nurses and projectleaders). Also she centralized the nationwide planning, building a new department.
At the Free University of Amsterdam Irene obtained a masters degree in Culture, Organization and Management. Change management has been a large part of her study.
In addition to Dutch, Irene speaks English fluently.
