Biography
Andy is a Managing Director at Koya Partners, a division of Diversified Search Group, where he helps mission-driven organizations navigate transitions in leadership. He primarily works on searches at the CEO and Executive Director level and is quick to draw on the extraordinary depth of talent and expertise across the firm.
In guiding client organizations through the challenge of leadership transition, Andy draws on extensive experience in the field. He served as Executive Director of the Anti-Defamation League of New England and President of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate as well as President of the Alliance for Business Leadership. He is presently a trustee at Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology and is a member of the Leadership Advisory Board of Project Alianza. Andy was a Senior Fellow at UMass Boston in the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies and served as a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. He teaches business ethics and leadership at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
Earlier in his career, Andy served as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, and as a principal in two strategy firms he founded to focus in different areas of social impact and DEI strategy.
Two career highlights for Andy are receiving the NAACP’s Kivie Kaplan Humanitarian Award in 2008 and being one of two docents to guide the Chelsea FC squad on the team’s visit to Boston’s Holocaust Memorial in 2019.
