Steve is a senior advisor and consultant to corporate boards and CEOs in corporate governance, leadership, and culture issues. Based in Houston, Steve has extensive experience carrying out CEO and executive team development programs, as well as culture analysis and organizational benchmarking. He works with a diverse range of companies, from Fortune 500 firms to mid-cap and emerging growth firms around the world, bringing a broad industry perspective, strategic insight, and rigorous candidate assessment. Steve currently serves as co-head of Strategy and Excellence on the senior leadership team, and is a core member of the firm’s Board and CEO Advisory Partners team. Prior to that role, he led the global Industrial and Natural Resources Sector. Previously, Steve was the managing director at the Corporate Executive Board, a best practices consulting firm. Here, he advised Fortune 500 companies in the energy and technology industries. He has also held roles at Enron Corporation and Koch Industries. Steve received his BA in political science from Emory University and his MBA from the University of Florida.
