Biography
Adriana's search career began with DHR International in 2016 as a Partner in the Mexico office doing searches nationwide in a whole array of industries, highly focusing in the consumer, industrial and financial services practice. She has placed senior executives in Mexican, Latin American and large multi-national companies. Before joining DHR, she was a consultant in HR specialized in talent search and organizational development, as well as in communication strategies for financial, retail, aviation, pharma, consumer industries and luxury brands.
Adriana started her career in human resources, moving quickly through other functions such as compliance and commercial positions within Citibank, NA. (Citigroup). Citi Mexico is today the largest operation worldwide, outside of the U.S. for this financial institution. She held director positions for branch network and was a senior generalist reporting to the CHRO. While she lived in Miami, she was also the Latin America representative on a worldwide project of Global Relationship Management. Upon returning to Mexico, she was given the coordination of the corporate audit of the branch network after the acquisition of Banca Confía in 2000. She was also part of the team in the due diligence of this strategic acquisition.
On a pro-bono basis, Adriana currently serves as the vice president of The American Society, a non-partisan and not for profit organization, serving to strengthen civic, cultural and social ties between Mexico, the U.S. and other countries that have diplomatic relations with both. The American Society of Mexico represents U.S. interests abroad including the thousands of companies and the two million Americans living in Mexico.
Adriana has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and other studies in Logotherapy, Neurolinguistics and Coaching from UNAM and Universidad Iberoamericana. She has one adult son who lives in Mexico City, Gabriel.
