Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Franca Germann is active in Egon Zehnder’s global Financial Services Practice. She focuses on retail, corporate, and transaction banking as well as market infrastructure providers and FinTech companies. Franca is a valued advisor for executive search and leadership advisory projects with a gift for motivating leaders to open themselves to new and aspirational visions and outgrow their limitations. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Franca spent many years working out of the Frankfurt office of McKinsey & Company, advancing to Associate Partner and acting as the main liaison to clients’ top management. Clients valued Franca’s analytical mind and extensive experience and expertise across a wide range of relevant fields including strategy and analytics, M&A and profitability management, digitalization, and technological innovation. She served incumbents, start-ups, and private equity investors in the banking and market infrastructure industries across Germany, Europe, and the Middle East. Franca earned a BSc in general management from the European Business School and a MSc in finance from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London before completing a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) in finance at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her young daughter, engaging in outdoor activities, and traveling.
