Biography
Bill Kett is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Melbourne office and leads the Social Impact Practice in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He has built a wide network and significant experience in international search having spent nearly 25 years in executive search.
Bill conducts searches at the vice-chancellor, chief executive, and director level for a wide range of institutions and organisations in the education, health, research, and scientific sectors, as well as government.
Prior to joining Heidrick and Struggles Bill was a partner with KPMG. During his twelve years with the firm he held a number of senior roles, most recently as partner-in-charge of a national executive search and selection practice for KPMG Australia.
Early in Bill’s career he held senior operational and functional roles in the public sector. He has a long-standing interest in global education, health, scientific research and government markets and has a deep understanding of the operational and cultural challenges faced by clients in these areas.
