Simon Larm is a Partner and a member of DHR’s Industrial Practice, based in Shanghai. With more than a decade of executive search experience in the industrial and high-tech sectors, he leverages his background and training as a search consultant, along with his detailed understanding of the high-tech and manufacturing sectors, to provide guidance to clients. Simon began his career working for a human resources consulting firm in Hong Kong, specializing in recruiting professionals for multinational companies. He then relocated to Shanghai to manage the company’s China Practice. Simon later spent eight years with another major global search firm in Hong Kong before returning to Shanghai in 2003. Prior to joining DHR, Simon was a Senior Client Partner with Korn Ferry International where he spent over 15 years serving clients from different subsectors of the industrial segment in China and Asia Pacific. He was a member of the Global Financial Officer Practice hiring top talent for his clients across different industries. Throughout his 27-year career, Simon has completed hundreds of searches for C-level and senior-level executives. He serves a variety of clients including private and public Chinese, Asian, and Western multinational companies. Originally from Hong Kong, Simon has been working in China for over two decades. He received a bachelor’s degree in government and public administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
