Hamish graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and gained a 2.1 (LL.B.) in Law before completing his training contract at a small boutique law firm in North Yorkshire. Hamish began his career with Taylor Root in Sydney in 2012 where he worked in the international team specialising in helping Australian lawyers find new roles overseas. In 2014, Hamish moved to the Taylor Root Hong Kong office; here he worked with all the leading international law firms in Hong Kong and North Asia. In 2015, Hamish returned back to the UK and worked in London on the private practice City desk before moving to Dublin at the start of 2019 to launch and lead Taylor Root’s presence in Ireland.
