Alexander leverages a broad, international background in management, strategy consulting, and academia. He joined Russell Reynolds Associates from SIX, a financial technology and data provider. There, he was managing director in the financial information unit. He also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. in banking, insurance, financial center strategy, and retail. He began his career as a researcher and lecturer in economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Alexander earned a master’s degree in economics and financial markets as well as a doctorate in economics from the University of St. Gallen. He speaks German, English and French. Alexander holds several certifications for coaching and leadership assessment from internationally recognized organizations.
