Stig Dahlgaard Berntzen is a core member of the firm’s Industrial and Energy & Natural Resources Practices. Stig focuses on senior-level searches and boardroom assignments for clients across all industries, bringing extensive experience in executive assessment work and broader international searches across all functions. He is based jointly in Copenhagen and Oslo. Stig rejoined Russell Reynolds Associates after almost five years with another leading executive search firm, where he was a Managing Director and Country Chair overseeing operations in Norway. Prior to this, Stig was with RRA for nearly nine years, during which time he led business operations in Norway and partnered closely with clients across the Nordics. Before this, Stig was the Head of Innovation Norway, Commercial Counselor, Norway’s international trade and development agency. Previously, he was a Station Manager for the Norwegian Trade Council, and he also spent three years with IBM Nordic. Stig holds a BSc in business administration from the Copenhagen Business School and an MBA in European business administration and business law from Lund University. He speaks Danish, Norwegian, English and German.
