Biography
Mr. Chang works with senior leaders to design and implement integrated human capital solutions from business strategy and organization design to culture transformation and change.
Mr. Chang also supports talent interventions through the design and facilitation of high impact regional leadership programs that incorporate business simulations and executive coaching for directors and high-potentials.
Beyond the enterprise, Mr. Chang has also led projects providing strategic recommendations for Singapore's Process Supporting Industry and the Logistics Sector Manpower Plan - both of which were presented at the ministerial level. He is also the founding architect behind the national human capital diagnostics program, a multi-agency initiative deployed in partnership with over 200 independent assessors which he personally trained.
Eugene started his career in technology with Hewlett Packard. Later, he started and operated a network of 30 smoothie outlets franchised across 4 cities for 7 years; he was recognized with the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2003 honoring local entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2012, he was Principal at a boutique strategy firm providing franchise and branding assistance to companies expanding in and around Asia.
Eugene stays connected with the community through pro bono work and speaking engagements with not-for-profit organizations. He currently volunteers on the HR Committee reporting into the Singapore International Film Festival board.
Eugene earned his Bachelors in Computer Science from Boston University in 1994 and completed an Executive MBA from INSEAD in 2010. He received an Executive Diploma in Directorship from Singapore Management University in 2014.
