Jian Ma is a core member of DHR International’s Board & CEO Practice. He is based in the firm’s Beijing office. Jian has been a search consultant for over 15 years in China, successfully working with MNC and Chinese clients to place their transformative senior executives and board of directors. Prior to joining DHR International, Jian served as managing director at Russell Reynolds Associates where he was a core member of Technology and Professional Service Practice for over 5 years. Prior to that, he served as Partner in Charge of Beijing office at Heidrick & Struggles. Jian started his career at China Hewlett Packard, and later worked as a partner at both Accenture in Beijing and Deloitte Consulting in Shanghai. Jian fully understands the complexity of the Chinese marketplace. He leveraged global best practices to provide practical solutions to local client business needs. He has served many clients throughout China, Hong Kong and Australia. Jian has served on nonprofit and local company board of directors. Jian received a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Electronics in Chengdu and a Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from the University of Technology in Sydney.
