With more than fifteen years of experience in recruitment / advisory, Mr. Read joined Korn Ferry in 2018 from a leading multinational executive search firm, where he was head of Asia Pacific Global Markets and a member of the Global Financial Services practice. Previously Mr. Read was Partner in Charge of Asia at a New York headquartered global executive search boutique. Mr. Read began his working career in the information services industry, as a Business Development Manager for a global leader in consumer and business credit reporting. He moved from the U.K. to Hong Kong in 2004, beginning his executive search career soon after. With a proven track record, Mr. Read is well known in the industry as an authority in the Asia Pacific financial services executive search market. He has successfully completed search assignment across all levels, for global investment banks, hedge funds, proprietary desks and alternative investment clients. Mr. Read graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies (honors) from Anglia Ruskin University and holds an Advanced Certificate in Executive Search and Leadership Consulting from Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
