Romain Clio is a member of the firm’s Industrial and Natural Resources Sector, and a core member of the CFO Practice. In this capacity, he conducts cross-functional senior executive and non-executive director searches and assessments with a strong focus on industrial sectors ranging from process industries to more technology-driven organizations. Romain also specializes in Chief Financial Officer and other senior finance assignments across all sectors. Recent work includes a number of CEO, CFO and other functional leadership positions, as well as non-executive director roles for both listed and private equity-owned companies around the globe. Romain is based in Brussels. Romain joined Russell Reynolds Associates from another leading global executive search firm, where he was a member of the Global Industrial Markets and Financial Officers Practice. Previously, Romain held business finance roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He was also a Teaching Assistant in economics at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. Romain began his career at EY, where he worked on a broad range of European projects, as a Manager in Advisory Services. Romain holds an MSc in management from Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. He speaks fluent English and French.
