Born in Paris, following a Paris Business school degree and a diploma from Cambridge, Francis joined an aircraft manufacturer in their commercial department following up a number of international contracts. With the opportunity to join a pharmaceutical company, Francis who comes from a family with several generations of pharmacists, surgeons and doctors did not hesitate and joined a company to become lately a part of SANOFI. The role was covering export sales and the supervision of subsidiaries in Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. A few years later Francis decided to accept the offer of UPSA Laboratories to manage all international operations, affiliates in Europe and distributors overseas. After a long period of extensive travel then came the opportunity to settle in Belgium and run the affiliate of a US group with a range of innovative prescription products to register and market. This was an ideal position to get involved with all main activities of a healthcare firm, from R & D to medical affairs, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing and distribution. An unexpected meeting in Brussels with the founder of EUROMEDICA executive search convinced Francis to make a turn, staying in the Lifesciences but looking for talents while running the French affiliate. Since then and lately at the head of PEOPLE IN HEALTH, Francis has been conducting hundreds of retained searches at VP and Board level in all Life sciences disciplines, Pharma, Biotech, Devices, Diagnostics, Tests and others.
