Biography
Iris Krings has been specialized on search mandates in the Professional Services arena for 20 years. She advises top tier management consulting firms as well as consulting boutiques and is a trusted advisor to one of the Big Four companies since 2004. From her long time experience in this particular segment derives her expert functional knowledge across taxation, M&A, and legal which she applies to Corporate Officer searches for clients in various industries.
Iris joined Civitas International in 2009 and became a Partner of AmropCivitas in July 2018. As a core member of Amrop’s Global Professional Services Practice and with her strong functional focus she provides local advice to her international colleagues and global market coverage to her clients.
Previously, she was an Associate with Russell Reynolds Associates for five years, working out of their Hamburg and Brussels offices. In 1998, she started her career in Executive Search with Ray & Berndtson, today Odgers Berndtson, in Frankfurt.
Iris holds a degree in linguistics, cultural science, and law following studies at universities in Mainz, Antwerp and Rome. She is fluent in German, English, Italian, and Dutch and has a good working knowledge of French.
Iris serves as mentor for MBA students of TUM School of Management (Technische Universität München), one of the top Business Schools in Germany. Furthermore, she engages as a mentor for scholars of ‘Geh deinen Weg’. This scholarship of the German Foundation Integration, chaired by Germany’s former Federal President Christian Wulff, is directed towards pupils and students with immigrant background.
