Monica Rossi Gorno is a core member of the firm’s global Luxury, Retail and Fashion Practice, and leads the Consumer Practice for Italy. She also assists several private equity funds in the recruiting of CEOs for their portfolio companies. Based in Milan, Monica leverages her significant industry and advisory background to provide her clients with insight and guidance as they assemble the best leadership teams. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Monica was a Partner with another leading executive search firm, where she focused on a broad range of searches and management assessments within the retail, fashion and luxury, and consumer sectors. Before her career in executive search, Monica worked at Giorgio Armani’s headquarters in several management capacities over the course of five years, ultimately as Operations Coordination and Licensing Director. Her earlier career includes extensive consulting experience with McKinsey & Company in Milan and Arthur Andersen in Washington, DC. While at McKinsey & Company, Monica specialized in the fashion and luxury sector, leading several strategic and organization projects for the main Italian players within the industry. Monica received her Laurea degree in economics and business, with honors, from the University of Florence. She is fluent in English and Italian, and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish.
