Millie Gartland is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Sydney office and a member of the Consumer Markets Practice. She executes executive-level mandates that span multiple functions as well as general management, C-Suite, and group CEO searches for private, public, domestic, and international businesses. Millie is particularly knowledgeable about the retail and FMCG markets. Previously, Millie worked as a senior consultant for eight years in a boutique recruitment firm based in the UK. In this capacity, she managed the firm’s relationships with its financial services clients, as well as the end-to-end project management of significant search projects. When she moved to Sydney in 2014, Millie spent one year with a specialist recruitment firm where she completed a range of mandates throughout Australia for both publicly-listed and privately-held financial services organisations. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to manage market sensitive assignments. University of Manchester, Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics.
