Emily Beck advises boards and CEOs in the industrial and natural resources industries on sourcing talent and building strong leadership teams. Based in Minneapolis, she has extensive experience as a strategic advisor who focuses on operations and general management for industrial companies. Over the course of her career, Emily has led large, global teams to deliver complex C-suite projects in the US, Europe, China, Japan, and Singapore. Most recently, she was a strategy and transformation senior associate at Grant Thornton LLP (US). In that role, she advised on global sales and marketing operations, leadership development, and organizational strategy across the MedTech, industrials, and technology industries. Prior to that, Emily spent over seven years at 3M, leading global capital equipment projects for the electronics and energy business group and managing global operations, including the launch and scaling of new products and technologies for the consumer business group. Emily holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BSc in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University.
