Jack is based in Daversa’s San Francisco office. Jack works primarily across B2B SaaS, middleware, infrastructure, frontier technology and marketplace models, placing CEOs, Presidents and Heads of Sales, Marketing, Post-Sales, Customer Success and a variety of general management, product, and operations roles. Jack has spent the last decade building particular depth around the SaaS and infrastructure categories building out the teams at Zendesk, GitLab, Palo Alto Networks, Automation Anywhere, Envoy and others. In recent years he has lead much of Daversa’s work in low-friction and high velocity SMB/ and productivity or collaboration focused SaaS businesses like Miro, GitLab, HubSpot, Framer, BrightWheel, Wrike, PatientPop and others. Jack also leads a large portion of the firm’s frontier technology work, with particular depth in robotics for companies like Covariant, Kindred.AI, Dexterity.AI, Giant.AI, Gecko Robotics, Recursion Pharmaceuticals and others. Jack is a frequent partner to A16Z, Sequoia Capital, Menlo Ventures, Accel Partners, Lux Capital, Eclipse Ventures, and a select group of other top tier venture capital and private equity firms. Jack holds a degree in history from Hamilton College.
