Vinita Katara is a member of the firm's Corporate Officers and Nonprofit practices. Based in Mumbai, she drives the Corporate Officers practice for the firm in India focusing on the appointment of senior financial and HR officers. Over the last several years, Vinita has successfully completed a number of CFO and CHRO searches in technology, healthcare, consumer goods and industrial sectors. Her clients include BSE NSE listed companies, private equity portfolio companies as well as Indian subsidiaries of global multinational organizations. She has also worked with private equity funds and impact investors, recruiting investing talent for their leadership teams. Additional projects include recruiting CEOs for charities as well as nonprofit and for-profit organizations in the education sector. Vinita brings over ten years of executive search experience and joined the firm in 2014. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Vinita was a member of India's start-up team for Bristol-Myers Squibb where she held sales and marketing roles including marketing responsibility for Taxol, the company’s blockbuster anti-cancer chemotherapy drug. Vinita received her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her MBA from the SP Jain School of Global Management.
