Biography
Mary McKenzie is a Partner in Odgers Berndtson’s Mining & Metals Practice in Canada. Based in Toronto, she specializes in technical assignments for global operations and corporate levels within junior, mid-tier and major mining companies.
Mary brings over 17 years of executive search, research, and project management expertise in the Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. She has worked for boutique search firms, and was most recently responsible for opening the Toronto office of a U.S.-based firm that specializes in the mining sector.
Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree (with Honours) in Physical Geography and Economics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Urban Planning from Ryerson University. She belongs to several industry associations, is currently Chair for Women in Mining (Toronto Branch), and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining’s Executive Committee (Toronto and GTA West Branches).
