Jesús is a core member of the Technology Sector, based in Madrid. In his work as a trusted advisor to both regional and international clients, he specializes in recruiting talent in the digital technology space. Jesús leverages his broad industry experience to work with clients ranging from multinationals to startups as they navigate a changing digital landscape. Jesús joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Microsoft, where he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft Norway, in Oslo. In this role, he drove digital transformation for customers and partners through the company’s cloud services. Through his 12-year tenure with Microsoft, Jesús held roles of progressive seniority, working in cities including Miami, Madrid and Seattle. Previous roles included work in business planning, advertising, sales operations and portfolio management, consumer services and marketing. He has also advised several startup companies in the advertising and consumer businesses. Earlier in his career, Jesús worked for Vodafone in Dusseldorf, UNI2 (France Telecom) and BBVA, both in Spain. He also served in the Spanish Army. Jesús holds an M.Sc. in telecommunications engineering from the University of Zaragoza and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. He speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.
