Marcelo Conteçote is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' São Paulo office and a member of Heidrick consulting, focusing on organizational culture solutions for clients across South America. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Marcelo was a senior consultant at Walking the Talk where he helped build strong connections between culture and safety for clients in oil & gas, mining, construction, agribusiness, logistics, telecom, retail, and food. Marcelo began his career at Embraer headquarters in Brazil as an internal global consultant for organizational culture, marketing, and internal communications. He led initiatives to push the organization to the levels of excellence levels demanded by the aerospace industry including corporate culture, flight safety culture, innovation (disruptive & continuous improvement), leadership and people policies and initiatives, new factories and facilities, compliance, labor & union relations, lean manufacturing, ERP, and ISO 14k & OHSAS 18k.
