I hail from the Emerald Isle, also known as Ireland. I graduated with an LLB Honours Degree and thereafter studied for my NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. I spent time in project and account management roles in marketing before moving into legal recruitment in London in 2014. After much longing for a sunnier climate I decided to relocate to Sydney and I joined Taylor Root, where I recruit Lawyers and Company Secretaries into banking and financial services. While in London I worked for a leading national recruitment brand called LAW Absolute, where I gained three years’ experience specialising in recruiting Lawyers, Legal Executives and Paralegals into temporary, contract and permanent positions in private practice. Now at Taylor Root, I specialise in in-house legal and company secretarial recruitment within the banking and financial services industries. I work with global investment banks, private equity/hedge funds, private wealth managers, broker dealers, investment managers, financial planners, insurers, super funds, payment providers, as well as the corporate, regulatory, retail, and wholesale banking divisions of Australia’s leading financial services institutions.
