Biography
Alex is a pragmatic occupational psychologist working to identify, assess and develop leadership capability; from high potential talent to senior executives. His work combines best practice in psychology with a pragmatic approach to addressing real business challenges.
Alex works collaboratively with clients to co-create innovative solutions that make a lasting impact.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Alex worked for a global business school and business psychology consultancy and spent five years in the Middle East, working with a range of organisations. He has also previously worked in both forensic and clinical settings as a practitioner psychologist.
Alex has in-depth industrial sector experience and has led critical assessment projects in both the chemical and automotive industries.
Additionally, he has worked significantly in financial services and with number of consumer brands (hospitality and retail).
His areas of expertise includes; competency development, success profiling, talent and high potential identification, leadership development, psychometrics/360 feedback and assessment/development centres, including executive assessment.
Alex is accredited in a range of psychometric and instruments and is passionate about their application in both selection and development settings.
He holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology and is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. He has published research on personality and multi-rater feedback and personal resilience as a key leadership characteristic.
