As a senior associate in WittKieffer’s Education Practice, Luis Bertot brings a rich history of work in human resources leadership to his role. In dealing with clients and candidates, he offers a unique perspective of understanding the myriad talent needs of today’s institutions and the career challenges that today’s leaders face. He is known for his open, honest communication with clients in order to match them with dynamic, diverse executives who align with their strategic needs and objectives. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Luis owned his own human resources consulting firm, offering a full spectrum of HR, talent, and recruiting services and expertise. He closely partnered with clients’ executive teams to develop holistic people strategies, create efficiencies, solve problems, and transform their workforce. Before that, he was a senior human resources manager for Fortune 50 firm Comcast Universal, overseeing HR needs for four of the company’s departments. Earlier in his career, he served as director of human resources for Continental Real Estate Companies (CREC) of Coral Gables, Florida. Luis serves as a member of the WittKieffer Diversity Council and works with clients and candidates to enhance diversity and inclusive excellence in leadership recruitment. He has completed the eCornell certificate program in Diversity and Inclusion. Luis has also shared his expertise as an adjunct professor at Florida International University, teaching an upper-level course in Human Resources Management. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
