Gabriel is Partner in the Mexico City office of Odgers Berndtson. He brings fifteen years of experience in Executive Search for Financial Institutions, comprising banks, asset managers, insurance companies, consumer lending, specialized financing entities and fintechs. Gabriel has managed Executive and Senior Level assignments, from General Management roles to Functional and Technical positions. Likewise, he has led search processes for Real Estate, Consumer, Pharma, Industrial and Retail companies. Prior to Odgers Berndtson, Gabriel was Client Partner of the Financial Services practice at Korn Ferry Mexico. Previously, he worked in Madrid as Product Director for Afina-Pentor, a JV of Spanish investors and Commerzbank specialized in asset management and fund distribution. Former, he worked as Marketing Manager at The Citibank Private Bank Madrid, and earlier in his career, Gabriel worked as Risk Analyst and Corporate Banker for Citibank Mexico. Gabriel holds a BS Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the Universidad Panamericana, a Degree in Corporate Finance from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM), and an MBA Degree from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom.
