Luigi Paro manages Spencer Stuart’s Rome and Milan offices and is a consultant in the firm’s Industrial and Energy practices, with a focus on clients in the automotive, industrial machinery, electrical and electronic products, equipment, and packaging sectors. As a former chief executive, Luigi understands firsthand the challenges industrial companies and their leadership teams face. His clients benefit from his deep insights into international business development, reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing, and customer service management. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Luigi served as CEO of Gewiss and Nice, leading companies focused on low-voltage solutions and the home automation sector. During his four-year tenure at Nice, listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, he oversaw all of the company’s merger and acquisition activities from deal negotiation through integration of the newly acquired companies into the corporate culture. He held numerous leadership roles in various industrial companies and most recently was general manager of Sipa-Zoppas Industries Group and president of the Berchi Group. Previously, he was the sales and marketing director of a business unit for Iveco, the truck manufacturing arm of the Fiat Group. Luigi has a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Padua. He speaks Italian and English.
