Biography
Markus blends skills in coaching, organizational strategy, transformation management, people development , and digital transformation to ensure clients' success.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Markus managed people development at a leading semi-conductor company. He designed leadership development programs, developed leadership principles, assessed leadership, ran performance management and oversaw the learning strategy.
Before that, he was senior partner at leading consulting and professional services firm and headed the talent and organization practice in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He executed complex transformation programs, including new operating models, customer centricity programs, innovation acceleration, and skill transformation in industries that encompassed industrial equipment, transportation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
He advised companies like BASF, Linde, Telefonica, Roche, Fresenius Medical Care, Swiss Railway, or Bacardi on transforming their operating models and digitising their business.
Previously, Markus spent nearly a decade in multiple sales, strategy, and central leadership roles at Siemens.
His career has seen him gaining a rare combination of 25 years of consulting and industry experience in central functions and business operations.
Markus is a certified systemic coach and has degrees in business management from the University of Applied Sciences in Worms and in management and psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL).
