Gopi serves as a Client Partner for EMA Partners India and leads their Bangalore office. He is a key member of the firm's regional industrial and energy natural resources practice, for South Asia and Middle East, where he conducts high impact, senior-level, general management and functional leadership search assignments. Prior to moving back into the Industrial & Manufacturing practice in 2016; he played a seminal role in building & strengthening the Digital, Consumer & Retail practices, for the firm in India. Over the years; Gopi has become a trusted advisor, for a number of client organisations seeking to fill leadership positions at local, regional and international levels. Since joining the firm in 2011; he has spearheaded numerous executive search and succession planning mandates, for clients of all sizes and ownership structures - including publically traded, private equity backed and closely held, multinationals and family run businesses. He has advised a wide spectrum of clients across automotive, chemical, clean tech, construction and building materials, electrical and electronic products, industrial machinery and equipment, oil & gas, metals & mining; on some of their most critical leadership challenges. Prior to moving into Executive Search; he was associated with both Blue chip multinationals and mid-size boutique firms, consulting for their clients across Asia Pacific, Africa & Europe. Gopi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has earned a Master’s Degree in Management.
