Biography
David founded Alluvion Staffing in 2000, which was then acquired by Vaco in 2021, and is now the managing partner of Vaco’s Jacksonville office. He is a passionate entrepreneur and innovator and his knowledge and understanding of the labor market are instrumental in the growth and transformation of the Jacksonville office. Under David’s leadership, Alluvion had been selected as one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Florida and named to the Florida 100 list multiple times. In 2019, David was also selected as the Ultimate CEO by the Jacksonville Business Journal. Alluvion was also selected as a “Best Places to Work”.
Prior to Alluvion and Vaco, David spent five years as a Project Management Consultant for companies including Prudential and AT&T. During his five-year tenure, UCS became the first service organization to win the Malcolm Baldrige Quality award. David spent most of his time at UCS leading the UI design and implementation of CRM systems that were nationally recognized by organizations such as the Smithsonian Institute, USA Today and Booz Allen.
David is committed to workforce development and is actively engaged to ensure Florida has the required talent to meet the needs of the corporate community. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Northeast Florida Regional STEM2Hub. The STEM2Hub was founded by corporate leaders from Alluvion, CSX, FloridaBlue and others. The STEM2Hub is accelerating STEM focused workforce development and transforming STEM Education.
Additionally, David Chairs the Advisory board for the UNF College of Computing. He is also a member of the College of Education Advisory board and the Dean’s Advisory Council.
David is a Jacksonville native and earned his bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. He and his wife Denise have one daughter.
