As a Senior Consultant in the Mercuri Urval Helsinki office, Mr Juha Pohto is concentrating on advising on Executive Search services and delivering top quality services to client organisations. Over the past 25 years, Juha has accumulated extensive and well-rounded experience in the Executive Search industry. Previously he worked as a Senior Research Consultant in a global top Executive Search company for 21 years. His recruitment career started as a consultant for a local and domestic recruiting company. Earlier in his career, Juha worked with political support functions, including leadership tasks. Among Juha´s more specific interests are Industrial BAs broadly, Life Sciences, Retail, and the third sector. His functional interests include Business Management (MD’s and P&L roles), HR Management, Marketing & Communications, and Public & Stakeholder Relations. Juha has a M.Sc. (Social Sciences), majoring in international economy, from the University of Helsinki, and later he did a general leadership program in JOKO Executive Education. In addition to his native language Finnish Juha speaks English and Swedish fluently.
