Biography
Sarah has a sharp eye for what an organization truly needs. She uses her engineering background to clarify and simplify any challenge and to find suitable solutions, whether they should be found on the organization axis or on the people axis.
Her natural interpersonal and facilitation skills, and warm and accessible personality have helped her many times and for many clients to obtain the confidence of her audience and with it a fundament for growth. She cares for the people and the groups she works with and takes responsibility for their development curve.
As a person Sarah can be qualified as a sharp observer, analytically strong, energetic, committed and creative. Sarah is passionate about language, people and theatre.
Sarah has delivered work across the spectrum of HR consultancy. Her experience includes executive search, talent management, development of teams and individuals, work measurement, organization design, and performance management.
She has trained and facilitated many groups, on a variety of topics, ranging from strategy formulation, through content education, to team coaching.
She has a broad basis within the financial services sector, and also has experience in the public sector, tech & industry. Within Korn Ferry, she has worked for multi-nationals (e.g. ABN AMRO, Nationale Nederlanden, KPN) as well as smaller, locally oriented organisations, such as ICS, Synthon, Novartis, RTL.
Sarah enjoys to work in an international environment and has built substantial international experience throughout her career.
Sarah started her career at Korn Ferry in 2005. From 2009 - 2015 she worked at the Netherlands Authority for Financial Markets (AFM), both as a supervisor and as an (international) policy advisor. Before joining Korn Ferry for the second time in 2017, she worked in a boutique firm in the executive search area.
Sarah holds a Master of Science degree in Technology, Policy and Management, which she obtained at the TU Delft. She has a broad European fundament. She went to school in the Netherlands and Belgium, completed her first year of Mathematics at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, and undertook part of her engineering studies at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris. She speaks fluent Dutch, English and French.
