Biography
As a scientist and clinician with previous work experience in Pharma and working with the largest carriers/payers, Dr. Scott intimately understands the complex needs of a life sciences organization through the lens of the provider and patient experience, payer reimbursement, and regulatory and supply chain impacts, to help business leaders address growth and employee engagement challenges.
She previously served as Managing Director for a top tier global pharmaceutical consulting practice, scaling revenue to over $80M in 10 years. She also served as the Chief Product Officer and General Manager, Pharmaceutical Solutions for a healthcare alliance, working with large employers to solve employee health and wellbeing challenges.
Her experience in building large multidisciplinary, global teams to accelerate business growth makes her uniquely positioned to prioritize Korn Ferry solutions that align with business challenges faced by global companies. She is also passionate about addressing health equity and disparities and has authored papers focused on maternal health, obesity, HIV/AIDS, and Biotech pharma.
Education includes a Bachelors degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Howard University, Magna Cum Laude with Rho Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma honors. Dr. Scott completed her residency with Merck Medco/Holy Name Hospital in New Jersey and is licensed as a Registered Pharmacist. She is an active member of Women In Color in Pharma.
She resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two daughters. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Hamilton Madison House and the Ideal Model of Care Task Force for the Arthritis Foundation.
