Syl started her staffing career at TEKsystems in 2011. It was a great entry into the industry that led her to owning and operating her own firm. She speaks “IT” and has successfully placed hundreds of people in positions such as Cleared DoD Professionals, Developers including .NET, Java, and Mobile, UX Professionals, Business Intelligence Professionals, QA Staff, PC Techs, Cable Techs, Systems and Network Engineers, Technical Architects, Sales Professionals, IT Managers, Technical Executives, Marketing Professionals, Cyber Security Engineers, and more. Relationship building is extremely important to Syl. She has a true passion for helping others and being a “connector” has always been her specialty. To Syl, working in staffing isn’t just about the money and filling a spot. It has to always be the “right fit.” She truly values the opportunity to change someone’s life and really bring a benefit to someone’s career moving forward. This is why Syl is very excited to be assisting recruiters and sales talent in finding new opportunities in search and staffing – because being set for success and being a valued member of a team matter. Syl attended the University of South Florida and Saint Leo University, where she graduated with a Degree in Business Management. She is also certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, because of her passion for good health and great food. She was born on the gorgeous island of Puerto Rico and has spent most of her life in Florida. She resides in the Tampa Bay area and is a huge sports fan. She’s a long-time season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and also attends games often for the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning. She has three step-kids and is also mom to the cutest goldendoodle in the world, named Cayman. She’s married to her best friend and incredible husband, Mark, and they enjoy traveling, live music, and cooking together.
