Peter Flückiger led the Global Chemical and Process Industries segment of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice for nearly a decade. He continues focusing on advising clients in the chemical and process industry, as well as the machinery and equipment space and the services sector inclusive of transportation-and-logistics. Peter has deep expertise in management appraisal and leadership development and acts as a ‘sounding board’ advisor to senior leaders and CEOs. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Peter was Managing Director for DHL Supply Chain in Switzerland and Austria. Previously, he was a Consultant with McKinsey & Company in Switzerland. Peter has a degree in business management and a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, where he studied environmental chemistry. During his thesis he was funded by Dow Chemicals. Outside of work, he is interested in mindfulness and enjoys skiing and mountain biking with his wife and three sons.
