Biography
A psychologist and coach with over 20 years' experience, Mr. Hill helps CEOs and their teams foster new strategies, cultures and leadership behaviours across complex global organisations. His recent experience includes building risk-intelligence at BP after Deepwater Horizon, helping the United Nations align field operations in East Africa and supporting Europe's biggest digital transformation at HMRC.
Mr Hill began his career at Shell Chemicals before moving upstream and facilitating the Brent Bravo accident investigation in the North Sea. He has gained commercial experience across the full business lifecycle - from start-up to successful acquisition and working with private equity owners to prepare for trade sale.
Mr. Hill is a Chartered Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He read theology at Oxford University, psychology at Queen's University Belfast and holds a doctorate in psychometrics from Keele University. Mr. Hill is a regular commentator on personality, risk and leadership. He has written or edited 19 books and provides interviews for the BBC, the Sunday Times and the FT.
